16 Thank You's in 16 Day's | Day 3: to my beautiful Nan.

Dear Nan,

My beautiful nan... I will never be able to thank you enough for all that you are and for all you have done for me, but I'm going to try. Thank you for always being my biggest fan. Thank you for writing a little card for me to tell me you're proud of me after every accomplishment, no matter how
big or small they where. But if you're too be proud of anyone, it should be yourself. You are the reason behind all of my accomplishments. You made sure that I never gave
up on anything. I have always had the habit of saying
"I can't do this" and I'd want to quit. But you wouldn't let
me, you always said that there is no such thing as "can't". And you were right. I learnt to skip. I mastered the flower drawing. I made the phone call. I went to the meeting. I survived my depression. I don't quit. I try again, I fight and I find a way. Because you taught me that I can do anything that I put my mind to.

Thank you for supporting me in everything that I do. You supported me when I wanted to start a fashion stylist course. You supported me when I wanted to drop out. You supported me when I moved in with Josh. You supported me when I moved out. And you support my choice to make blogging my career. You supported me through all of the changes because you knew it was all apart of my journey to find my passion. I'm here because of your support. I follow my dreams without fear because I know that there is nothing that could ever stop me when I have you in my corner.

The love you have for Gramps has set the perfect example for me of what a marriage should be. You taught me that when you truly love someone, you never give up on them. You don't walk away when things get hard, you stay, you fight and you work through it... together.

I'm sorry for all the times that I snapped at you, when all you wanted was to help me fight the demons inside my head. You have cheered me on my whole life. And when I fall you're always there to pick me up and walk me through it. There can never be a day so dull that can't be brightened up by your smile or one of your magical hugs.

You have always handled, head on, any situation that life throws at you. You're the most kind-hearted person I have ever known. You're the glue that holds our family together. You make our lives better just by being your incredible self.

Thank you for being you. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for dealing with my mood swings. Thank you for being my strength when I had none. Thank you for being my voice when I didn't have one. Thank you for always believing in me. And most importantly, thank you for your roast dinners and your curry, egg and chips.

I love you with every inch of my heart and soul.

Thank you

xoxo
